Classic Video Game Monday: Winterbells

Some four or five years ago an unassuming Flash game featuring bunnies and bells and relaxing music took the internet by storm.

If you somehow missed out on this fad a few years back, and you just clicked on the link, then your day is now gone. I’m sorry. It’ll be worth it, though. Easy to learn and fiendishly addictive.

P.S. I’ll show you mine if you show me yours:

  1. Oh, I freakin’ love Winterbells. If someone made a mobile version of it I would not spend my day doing anything but playing Winterbells. It is so incredibly addictive. The music is so lovely too (anything that puts me in a Christmas-y mood is okay in my book)!

Your high score beats mine a hundredfold though. And I thought my score was decent.

I’ll go cry in a corner now.

  2. Alex, Doodle Jump on the iPod is quite similar, though you have platforms instead of bells, and most of em don’t break when you jump on them.

  3. I had been saving this in my feed reader for a slow day. It was difficult, but I made it… this is almost as bad as Robot Unicorn Attack. Curse you Flash!

  4. Oh yay, it is so cute. I have kept this unread in my Google Reader for days because I wanted to play at work (I need something to do in my lunch break!).

I always get frightfully scared for the rabbit when it falls… every time!
