Back when you played WoW, did you used to run around Gnomer doing /drool? All the gears and gizmos in there…*starts to watch the gears turn and gets clubbed by a trog*

Personally I like numbers such as 10:10 or 3:33 or the ones that can be divided and it looks pretty … and I have a clock on each wall. I also count everything. I actually don’t notice it so much anymore unless I’m surrounded by numbers … I have yet to start collecting nice watches but they have always begged me to buy them.

Im not quite sure if im OCD or not never really looked into it. I’ll lock a door (for whatever reason) and ill have to go back and check if its locked… then ill walk away.. ill have to go back and check it again… ive never really counted if theres a number of times.. but im super compelled to check and check and check.

Its kind of awesome you like watches. i like them as well. Though i generally stick to citizen or seikos, and it has to be solid silver (brushed not chrome) and the band has to have a heavy, sturdy feel to it. I generally prefer a solid color dial with not much going on.. i really cant stand the see thruough dials(like.. drives me nuts. Needs to be simple. Pretty picky, eh? lol

Used to be a watchmaker… one of the few things i really really enjoyed doing. Unfortunately there isnt much money in it. Unless you own your own gig and you’re well connected.

wow, Pike– get out of my head… and do you know what’s worse? A persona with Numerical OCD who is also… dyslexic…

I also obsess on clocks, and calendars as well– for me, numbers grouping in certain WAYS grab me: 1:23, or 3/6/99 … those things ring to me as “special” and I always mark them.

@ Anna and Ardprest – I was diagnosed with a wide variety of mental issues as a teenager. And I was on a few types of medication for a little while. But I quickly decided that the tradeoff wasn’t worth the effort. I’ve no intention of taking those kinds of meds again (though nothing against those who choose to…); I’ve come to accept and understand my quirks and use them to my advantage. *nod*

Also Anna… your husband sounds frighteningly like me… wonder if there’s a correlation with it all? *muses*

@ Sunryō – I’ve always had an appreciation for the artistry found in “every day objects”. A lot of people don’t look at a computer or clock as a work of art. I do, though!
